This website is about Publikumsservice (Audience services) - a textbook on working with customer service at venues. The book shows how good customer service is the way to a good economy and loyal customers for venues such as theaters, concert halls, cinemas and museums. The author, Maria Christensen, has more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment business, most recently as Head of Operations and Audience Services at Kronborg Castle in Elsingore, Denmark. In the book Publikumsservice, she shares her knowledge and experience and provides tools on how to achieve good audience services and how easily it can be incorporated into daily routines.

The book is currently only published in Danish, but is expected to be published in English in 2021/2022.

About author Maria Christensen

Maria's more than 20 years of experience in the Danish entertainment business in such venues as the Royal Theater, Danis Broadcasting Coorporation´s concert halls, The Royal Library/The Black Diamond and Kronborg Castle in Elsingore. Through this, Maria has built up extensive experience and insight into audience behavior and psychology, their needs and expectations. At the same time, Maria has built up experience with and understanding of the challenges it creates for venues, when they want to develop their audience services, especially in a very busy everyday work life and with few resources

The book is divided into three chapters - each chapter is addressed either aspecifically to Front of House staff, the Team Leader, the Head of the venue or to all.
